WAYS TO WATCH

One Projector, Four Ways To Watch

Pick the one that brought you here. The same 350 g projector does all four.

Movie projected on a bedroom ceiling above a bed
1

In Bed

Turn the head straight up and the picture lands on the ceiling above your bed. You watch lying on your back, with nothing to prop up and no neck bent toward a TV.

180° rotating stand with auto vertical keystone

Watching a projected movie in bed at night with headphones
2

Late At Night

Pair Bluetooth headphones and the sound goes only to you. Watch a whole movie at 2am while everyone else in the house stays asleep.

Bluetooth 5.4 to headphones and speakers

Video game projected on a large bedroom wall
3

Game Night

Plug a PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo Switch into the HDMI port and play on a picture up to 130 inches. On a wall that size, split-screen games are easy to see from across the room.

Lights On

It is bright enough that owners watch it during the day, even with a window open. For the deepest colour, close the curtains or wait for dark.

THE DESIGN

Points At The Wall Or The Ceiling

The projector head sits on a U-shaped stand and turns through 180°, from the wall in front of it to the ceiling above. Auto vertical keystone straightens the picture as it tilts, so an angled throw still looks square.

No wall mount and no stack of books to tilt it.

Turns 180° on its stand

Squares the picture itself

About 350 g, one hand carries it

WiFi with an app store built in

SETTING UP

Ready In Three Steps

No tools, no wall mount, nothing to drill.

Plugging in the Tovyra Mini projector
STEP 1

Plug In And Point

Plug in the power cord and turn the head toward a wall or the ceiling. The picture straightens itself as it tilts.

Turning the focus wheel on top of the projector
STEP 2

Turn The Focus Wheel

Roll the wheel on top until the picture is sharp. If it ever looks soft, a quick turn brings it back.

Pairing wireless headphones with the projector
STEP 3

Pair And Press Play

Connect headphones or a speaker over Bluetooth, or plug a console into HDMI, then pick something to watch.

Picture Size

How Big It Gets

Move it further from the wall and the picture grows. These are the sizes at each distance, measured corner to corner.

Picture size100 inpictureat 2 m1 m1.6 m2 m2.6 m
Picture size130 inpictureat 2.6 m1 m1.6 m2 m2.6 m

About 50 Inches.

About a metre from the wall, on a desk or a dresser, the picture is already the size of a large TV.

80 Inches.

At 1.6 metres the picture reaches 80 inches. That is roughly the distance from a nightstand to a bedroom ceiling.

100 Inches.

At 2 metres, from a desk to the far wall of a dorm room, the picture reaches 100 inches, twice the width of a 50-inch TV.

130 Inches.

At 2.6 metres it reaches 130 inches, the top of its range. Big enough for a living room wall or a sheet in the backyard.

It’s incredibly bright, and you can see it even during the day. I’m currently watching a movie on it. The auto alignment is excellent for capturing unusual angles. It connects to my PS5 and my Beats Pill. …

FAQ

Still Have Questions?

Yes. Owners watch it during the day, including in bedrooms with the window open and the sun coming in.

Like every projector, the picture looks richest in a dim room, so evenings and closed curtains give you the deepest colour. In a bright room, a light plain wall or a white sheet helps the picture stand out.

If you plan to watch mostly in full daylight, blackout curtains make the biggest difference.

Good to know:
In a bright bedroom, point it at the ceiling. It is usually the plainest, lightest surface in the room and it faces away from the window.

Yes, both.
It pairs over Bluetooth 5.4 with headphones, earbuds, soundbars and speakers. The built-in speaker is loud enough to fill a bedroom, and a Bluetooth speaker gives movie nights a much bigger sound.

Yes. Plug any console into the HDMI port. Open-world adventures, racing games and split-screen nights fill a 100-inch wall. For fast competitive play, a gaming monitor will respond a little quicker.

Tovyra Mini has what most people come for: the 180° stand, auto keystone, Bluetooth and HDMI. Tovyra Mini+ adds a speaker built into the base for a bigger sound.
Mini+ Voice adds a voice remote.

It runs Android 14 with an app store for YouTube and many streaming apps. Some apps, like Netflix, may not run on the built-in system, so for every service, plug a Fire TV Stick or Roku into HDMI or mirror from your phone.

A small cooling fan runs while it plays, and in a silent room you will hear a soft hum.
Headphones or a speaker cover it completely.
